You can dine in any of the ten restaurants, at any time and also book dinner reservations. There are TV screens throughout Norwegian Gem to tell you where tables are available. If you pay an extra 15 to 20 dollar per person, you can dine at the specialty restaurant to have French to Japanese cuisine.

For more adventurous people, there is the option of playing basketball, volley ball or golf, in special netted areas. A spa includes 18 treatment rooms and the bars and lounges depict the talent of the musicians and magicians. The dress code is freestyle, although long pants are required after 5 30 pm. Java cafes and internet café, serves computer facility combined with frozen coffee, espresso, cappuccino and cookies. With Norwegian Gem, you can really enjoy your vacation to the extreme, with full freedom, as rightly highlighted on clock onboard which says "as if it really matters".
