Celebrity Equinox was completed in 2009. It is a cruise ship in the Celebrity Cruise line owned by Royal Caribbean International. Celebrity Equinox is in the solstice class of this cruise lines ships. This refers to that they offer more to their passengers. The Celebrity Equinox can cater to 2,850 guests. It is 122,000 tons and is 1041 feet in length. This cruise ship sails to the Caribbean and Europe.

A key feature of this cruise ship is the lawn club which has real green grass growing so if you grow tired of the pools just come to the lawn club and wiggle your toes. It also has 10 varied dining places. The staterooms include the Penthouse Suite which is 1,291 square feet. It has floor to ceiling glass door and a baby grand piano included in the décor. It also includes a 52 inch LCD TV.

The Royal Suite is 590 square feet with a veranda of 158 square feet. The amenities of this cabin are a wet bar on the veranda along with a whirlpool and a 52” LCD TV in the suite also.

Other than suites there are several other options such as the AquaClass® which is 194 square feet with a 54 square foot veranda. This is a new class on the cruise ship. This cabin allows access to the AquaSpa amenities such as being on Deck 11 which is close to the AquaSpa. A reservation in one of these cabins allows priority seating in Blu a special restaurant for the Aqua class.

There are many other classes of cabins including the smallest which are the inside stateroom at 183 to 200 square feet but no ocean view but includes a sitting area and sofa. The ocean view stateroom is 177 square feet and includes a sitting area with sofa.

The Liberty of the Seas is one of the Freedom Class of cruise ships in the Royal Caribbean International’s fleet of forty plus cruise ships. The Liberty of the Seas first sailed in May 2007. It has 15 passenger decks and weighs approximately 160,000 tons. It is approximately 1,112 feet long with 1,637 staterooms designed in the Italian style. And all rooms have flat screen TVs. It can carry 3,634 passengers. Restaurants include a Johnny Rockets, Italian cuisine, pizza, a Ben and Jerry’s and a Grille and wine bar.
The Liberty of the Seas features many sports facilities such as the Flowrider® which is the onboard wave generator for surfing. It has two whirlpools that are cantilevered out from the deck and the guests can see the sea below them. It has an interactive H20 water zone for kids. It has a full size volley ball court and a boxing ring, fitness center and ice skating rink plus pools of course. And don’t forget the casino. It also offers a cooking school and a nine hole miniature golf course.

The cruises that you can take on the Liberty of the Sea are the western and eastern Caribbean with Eastern Caribbean stops at St. Maarten, San Juan, Labadee, Haiti and a return to Miami for a total of seven nights. The Eastern Caribbean may be a short four night trip from the port in Miami, FL to Cozumel Mexico and back.

The Allure of the Seas owned by Royal Caribbean International is the sister ship to the Oasis of the Seas and is of the Oasis class. It arrived at its home port, Port Everglades in Ft Lauderdale, FL on the 12th of November 2010 after a 13 day crossing from Finland. The Allure of the Seas is 1187 feet long and is 220,000 gross tons in weight. She can carry 5400 guests. Over the next few weeks landscapers will be creating the Central Park neighborhood with 12,000 trees. It is being called the world’s largest and most revolutionary cruise ship by Royal Caribbean International. There are 28 loft suites with two story ocean views and 2700 staterooms.

The ship has telescoping funnels, a two deck dance hall, and a theater with about 1400 seats. It was the first cruise ship with Starbucks onboard and in December 2010 it will feature exclusively the DreamWorks Experience with DreamWorks characters like the How to Train Your Dragon™ Ice Show and Madagascar™ aqua show. Its first cruise will be 1 December 2010 and the ship’s initial voyage is a four night trip to the Royal Caribbean leased coastal property in Haiti called Lababee, a tropical paradise with sandy beaches and coral reefs where you can snorkel, parasail or kayak.

There is even a classic carrousel in the Boardwalk neighborhood. It also has the largest dedicated youth area of any cruise ship sailing today.
