Norwegian Cruise Line has teamed with Nickelodeon to offer two exciting Nickelodeon Cruises during the summer months of 2010. These week long cruises offer a number of different exciting features for kids that go along with the other features that Norwegian Cruise Line has to offer.
Norwegian Cruise Line- Epic
Kids can enjoy all sorts of things with SpongeBob, Dora, Diego and their other favorite Nickelodeon characters. These characters can be found around the ship and can offer autographs and photos. Character breakfasts are also available with them. Many stars of different Nickelodeon shows will also show up here.
Another feature of these cruises is that they offer special shows. The Slime Time Live! show is a daily interactive game show where families can compete together and get messy together. This is a popular attraction because getting slimed is always a good thing on a Nickelodeon cruise.
Pool Area
The pool on a cruise will also feature a daily Nick Live Poolside! event. This event offers concerts, shows and interactive games that vary by day. For younger kids the Nick Jr. section offers a variety of special activities for younger children. These include playroom activities, story readings, arts and crafts events and live shows.
Of course all of the many other features are available on a Nickelodeon cruise that can make this memorable for anyone. The H2O Zone water park and the FlowRider surfing simulator are great things for kids to enjoy. A massive rock climbing wall and an ice skating rink are also featured here.
Parents can enjoy different things about Nickelodeon cruises too. There are many restaurants and bars on the ship along with adult only pools, a casino and a spa that offers all sorts of body and massage sessions. The garden villas have three bedrooms and bath rooms, living and dining room, wet bar and steam room and whirlpool. This is ideal for multi- generation family travel or group of friends who want to cruise together.

You can dine in any of the ten restaurants, at any time and also book dinner reservations. There are TV screens throughout Norwegian Gem to tell you where tables are available. If you pay an extra 15 to 20 dollar per person, you can dine at the specialty restaurant to have French to Japanese cuisine.

For more adventurous people, there is the option of playing basketball, volley ball or golf, in special netted areas. Two swimming pools, one for adults with a waterfall are enough for swimmers and soakers to beat the heat. There are four hot tubs and a kid’s pool with enclosed spiral slide. Tree top kids club has a rainforest theme to engage the children. Video arcade and leopard lounge take care of the teens.

A spa includes 18 treatment rooms and the bars and lounges depict the talent of the musicians and magicians. The dress code is freestyle, although long pants are required after 5 30 pm. Java cafes and internet café, serves computer facility combined with frozen coffee, espresso, cappuccino and cookies. With Norwegian Gem, you can really enjoy your vacation to the extreme, with full freedom, as rightly highlighted on clock onboard which says “as if it really matters”.

There is a dazzling casino, internet cafe with 24 computer stations. On the main pool deck there are two pools and four hot tubs. The dress code in Norwegian Sun is casual but shorts, bathing suits and flip flops are not allowed in the restaurants in the evenings.
