Every week the Carnival Splendor, a unique ship from Carnival Cruise Lines, departs from Los Angeles en route to the Mexican Riviera. When heading out to this exciting destination people can enjoy many thrilling areas of the Carnival Splendor.
Carnival Splendor - Shore Excursion
People can relax and get in shape at the large Cloud 9 facility. This is a massive spa and gym area that features many great things including exercise equipment, fitness areas, steam rooms, saunas, massage rooms and other great places for people to relax and get fit in.
Carnival Splendor Room
For the kids there are many great places to see. There is a massive playroom on the Carnival Splendor that is more than five thousand square feet in size and is fully supervised. Activity plans for kids of all ages are also available. These are great features in that they allow all members of the family to enjoy all sorts of fun things while on the Splendor.
Carnival Splendor - Pool
There are a number of different pools for people to enjoy including a kids pool and a pool that features the massive Twister waterslide. However one of the most unique things with regards to pools here is the Thalassotherapy Pool. This is a pool that features water mixed with various minerals and relaxing jets. This pool allows the body to relax and feel the warmth of the water.
Sunset at Splendor - Lido Pool is Covered by the Sliding Sky Dome
The Sliding Sky Dome on the ship is a great thing to see as well. This is convenient in that in the event that rain comes to the area the two-story dome can move up over many outdoor areas of the ship.
Carnival Splendor - Plenty of Healthy Food
Of course the Carnival Splendor features many quality foods for sale through its many restaurants. The buffet is large and filled with quality foods while the Pinnacle Steakhouse features a luxurious atmosphere with some unique dishes.

The Carnival Spirit is one of the most luxurious ships available from Carnival Cruise Lines. This ship, which is a Spirit Class ship that can depart from San Diego or Seattle to Hawaii, the Mexican Riviera or Alaska, features an amazing array of luxurious features.

The inside of the ship is an amazing thing to see. The atrium features an amazing design with rich woods and glass areas that are appealing to the eyes and will add to the luxury that the ship has to provide. The lobby features a luxurious bar that offers a number of different types of drinks for guests. The Cool Club also offers different drinks in an impressively fashionable environment for adults to enjoy. A number of classy dining options can be enjoyed by guests. The Nouveau Steakhouse is by far the most notable of these dining areas. This steakhouse offers quality meats that are freshly prepared throughout the day. A piano bar is located around the area as well.

Other restaurants on the Carnival Spirit include the Empire Dining Room, a room that offers quality meals in a relaxed setting. This restaurant and others are especially great in that the menu is available throughout the day thanks to the Your Time Dining feature Carnival Cruise Lines works with. The rooms on the ship are very fashionable. These rooms include two twin beds or a king bed in a variety of forms. These include areas like the large suites and penthouse suites that feature fully furnished private sitting areas and private balconies that offer impressive views of the water and various surrounding areas. A large number of rooms are included here in that the ship can handle more than two thousand guests at a time, thus making this ship a great one for parties of all sizes.
