Independence of the Seas is another cruise ship from Royal Caribbean cruise. This ship has a capacity for 4370 passengers and 1360 crew. She is kind of sister ship of Freedom of the Seas. Independence of the seas also has all kinds of class features like of Royal Caribbean’s other cruise ships.

Pools, water parks, whirlpools, basketball and volleyball courts all add up for a classy experience inside the ship. There’s a shopping street, Promenade, with lots of shops, clubs, bars and pubs. There is an ice skating rink, other kinds of ice entertainments like ice shows. Passengers can have personal skating too out there.

I am writing this review to convey my heartfelt thanks to Independence of the Seas for giving me such an amazing excursion experience. I was with my friends to cruise the world on the world famous cruise ship. We greatly enjoyed the marvelous excursion experience on Independence of the Seas. Ship people helped us a lot in exploring the places and viewing the magnificent beauty.

Crew staff have given us much time to explore the places and browse the things. It was really an unforgettable experience both for me and my friends. I had traveled on many ships but did not receive such an appreciative service as I had from Independence of the Seas. What an amazing people they were! We still remember those mesmerizing days. I will recommend Independence of the Seas for people who are planning to go for a ship cruise.

There were wide ranges of activities arranged on board of Independence of the Seas mainly for kids. Whatever they are in the mood for – mingling, playing, gaming etc – there were chances to enjoy a great and funny time on Independence of the Seas. Kids were allowed to partake in Video Game Challenge, Babe Crusade and Hunk Hunt, Playing, Other games etc. Ship offered several play and enjoy choices for kids.

Besides these stunning entertainment amenities for kids, ship people gave much care and importance in the accommodation and dining of kids. Kids were given special chairs for dining and bathrooms were also equipped with particular bathing facilities for kids. Thanks a lot for ship people! If they did not give me such convenient kids’ amenities, I could not enjoy the cruise and excursion. Hundreds of thanks to the caring ship people! I would like to refer Independence of the Seas to people who are planning a ship cruise with kids.

Independence of the Seas is one of the largest ships in the fleet of Royal Caribbean, featuring many entertainment activities like, four Broadway style musicals, ice skating rinks, whirlpool, rock climbing wall, boxing ring and restaurants. There is Alhambra theatre, with production shows like Center stage with comedian Michael James, ball room dancers and ice show “strings” with world class performance on ice.

These items are for peaceful spending of the evening and for more adventurous people, there are activities like rock climbing wall, flow rider and many tournaments, comprising golf, bingo, swimming, basket ball, and shuffle board and so on.

Breakfast comprises a standard American menu from eggs to pancake and at lunch, there is a choice between a buffet and menu combo. Hot dishes, sandwiches, desserts and soups are served. For dinner, the guests have a choice between a standard two seating arrangement or choose the own dinning time each day. But there is no compromise on the quality of the food or the ambience.

Menu includes many starters and vegetarian pasta and broiled salmon. The dinner is lovely with classical music by musicians forming the background. There are five types of cabins for all categories including families.

The sun deck has three distinct pool areas with spa and fitness center. There is an YSPA program for teens and discounts are also offered at the spa which can be availed of.

It is 8 day tour on independence of the seas and for those who frequently travel, there is a diamond plus membership that offers many benefits- concierge services, reservation for special restaurants, evening cocktails, tickets for ice skating shows and other favors. This makes frequent travelers become an addict to Royal Caribbean cruise.

Incomparable entertainment facilities! This is my second time with Independence of the Seas cruise ship. What a fantabulous entertainment modes and facilities! The Royal promenade, Plaza Bar, Connoisseur Club, Karaoke Club, ‘Under The Big Top’ Theater & Cast, Broadcast Room etc featured appreciative entertainment facilities. I am an avid drinker of tasty wines. I really enjoyed the moments in Vintage Wine Bar.

There was great collection of world famous yummy wines. The Karaoke Club and the ‘Under The Big Top’ Theater & Cast were tremendously entertained guests. I danced out with the people of Theater. Restaurant people strived much to lend their visitors an ever remembering entertainment mode and cruise. Days were gone speedy as I was fully engaged in their entertainment modes. Thanks!
