The Ms Rotterdam is the standard-bearer for the Holland America Line fleet of ships. In December 2009 the Signature of Excellence upgrades were completed on the MS Rotterdam and the Rotterdam is now the most advanced and spacious ship in the entire fleet.

The Lanai staterooms are just one of the brand new Signature of Excellence amenities available on the MS Rotterdam. Each Lanai stateroom has enhancements that include many more stateroom options than before and completely updated stateroom furnishings. Many include their own personal verandas that open up directly onto the Lower Promenade deck through beautiful sliding glass doors.
MS Rotterdam Dining Room

The Holland America Line has outdone itself on fine dining as well. Besides having a delightful restaurant adjacent to the lido, a romantic evening venue for Italian fare has opened up. HOLLAND AMERICA NOORDAM CRUISE REVIEW

HOLLAND AMERICA'S NOORDAM CRUISE REVIEW
Are you looking for a cruise that not only is luxuriously comfortable but that also embraces the latest technology in order to help create a more ecologically sustainable cruise experience? Well, then you have found your dreamboat in Holland America Line's latest Vista class ship, the MS Noordam. Noordam is the Dutch word for the North Star, and like the guiding star of the night, the MS Noordam seeks to help lead the way in sustainable cruise ship technology with the latest shipboard and environmental technologies such as hybrid diesel-electric power generator for optimal energy efficiency and minimal waste. To further increase efficiency and lower impact, the Noordam also utilizes the brand new Azipod® propulsion system to maximize maneuverability with as little energy expenditure as possible.
MS Noordam

High technology is not all that you can find on the Noordam! The Noordam is also filled with beautiful classical and contemporary art ranging from an 1842 oil painting of the city of Utrecht to a gallery displaying a full range of fine photography of great modern musicians such as Dizzy Gillespie and BB King. One of the most striking pieces on the Noordam is a beautiful hand-made 18th century chest inlayed with real ebony and precious stones. Adding even more drama to this beautiful piece are the soaring wooden 17th-century Baroque columns flanking the finely wrought chest. If you have an IPod or other MP3 player available, you can tune in to our free shipboard tour of these and other fine art pieces all over the Noordam.
MS Noordam

For high technology and green thinking mixed with high art and classical beauty, the Noordam is one of Holland America Line's finest vessels. It doesn't matter if you are sailing the sunny Caribbean or gliding along the warm waters of the Mediterranean sea, wherever you are you will be in splendor on the Noordam.
AMSTERDAM CRUISE SHIP REVIEW

AMSTERDAM CRUISE SHIP REVIEW
The MS Amsterdam is the 3rd ship to bear the name of the Netherlands capital in all of the Holland-America-Line's over 136 years of operation. Not just any ship is worthy of such a grand name, and the Amsterdam has proven herself one of the few ships that is deserves it. Built in the finest Italian shipyards, the sheer artistry of fine craftsmanship blends seamlessly with the latest in ship technology to make any trip on the Amsterdam a voyage to remember.
MS Amsterdam

One of the largest and most famous pieces on the Amsterdam is the Planeto Astrolabium. This beautiful one of a kind sculpture is housed in the heart of a glorious three-story atrium where it showcases the beauty of our solar system amid lush greenery from around the world. The Planeto Astrolabium is not only a beautiful piece of artwork, it is also a functioning astrolabe that shows the locations of the constellations and where the planets are in real time. It also doubles as a global clock showing not only ship time but also the time all over the world as well.
Holland America Line's - MS Amsterdam

Other beautiful art from the now retired MS Nieuw Amsterdam of 1938 also graces the MS Amsterdam. These beautiful art deco pieces are sure to delight the eye while simultaneously setting off the fine, streamlined décor of the ship. For those who would prefer more modern art, contemporary pieces by the noted maritime artist Stephen Card are available for viewing in all public spaces of the MS Amsterdam.
What if you just cannot wait to show your friends and family all the beautiful things you are finding on your MS Amsterdam cruise?
