The Carnival Pride is an impressive ship in the Spirit Class of ships from Carnival Cruise Lines. While the Pride offers trips from Baltimore to the eastern Caribbean or the Bahamas there are many different things to do on the ship while en route to one of these quality destinations.

The various pools and whirlpools around the Carnival Pride are great to check out. These include such pools as the fashionable Venus Lido Pool or Apollo Pool. A kids’ pool is also available.

The fun can continue at one of the many entertainment areas around the ship. The Carnival Pride is home to the Butterflies Lounge, a fun dining area that offers drinks and karaoke nights and evenings with professional comedians. The Ivory Piano Bar, meanwhile, offers drinks alongside a piano performer who can perform nightly here. The Perfect Game Sports Bar can also feature foods in a unique setting where people can catch the big games.

Evening shows are thrilling at the Taj Mahal stage, a major stage on the Pride that offers live entertainment of all sorts. The Winner’s Club Casino has nightly entertainment too alongside a wide variety of slots, card tables and roulette areas.

The Carnival Pride has some fun activities for kids too. The Camp Carnival for kids who are two to eleven in age offers supervised fun activities in a vibrant environment. The Circle “C” and Club O2 sections for older kids offer fun things for them to do including dance parties, snacks and video games.

Of course no ship is complete without dining options and the Pride has many thrilling options. The Mermaid’s Grille Lido restaurant offers a large buffet with foods from all over the world while the Normandie Restaurant offers sit-down dining. David’s Steakhouse, meanwhile, features amazingly well prepared meals in a luxurious environment. This is something for everyone on this ship.

By far, Oasis of the Seas of Royal Caribbean is the largest cruise ship in the world, capable of carrying 5,400 guests with a load of innovative features. She spans 16 decks with an awesome 220 thousand tonnes with enormous number of staterooms, as many as 2700.

It has another first to her credit, where the entertainment areas are in neighborhoods including pool and sports zone, spa and fitness zone, entertainment place and youth zone. There is an evolutionary public space in Central park neighborhood that combines Nature with nautical miles and the Boardwalk neighborhood.

The pool and sports zone has an entire deck of pools, basketball courts, rock climbing walls and many more. The youth zone is for children and teens of age under 17, spanning an area of 29000 square feet. For infants and toddlers, there is a nursery, first of its kind in royal Caribbean.

There is no dearth for pool in Oasis of the Seas. Along with the main pool, there are sports pool, a pool exclusively for adults, and two flow rider surfing stimulators. The largest and deepest pool in the sea is in Royal Caribbeans, called the “Aqua theater pool”, which is about 18 feet deep. Oasis of the sea has to her credit adventure ocean theater with all the seating and production equipment and is exclusively dedicated for children, the first at sea.

Teen agers and teens can relax in the lap of teen spa where there are many spa options. Typically unique to Oasis of the Seas, is the carousel that holds a tropical park with trees and flowers. There are unbelievable 24 dining options, ranging from signature restaurant to neighborhood specific themed venues.

There is a wide variety of food and beverage with no extra charge whose crown is the central park, managed by the award winning Chef Kenann von Raesfeld, with the title of best young cook in the world-he is just 23 years of age. Vintage wine bar is always a popular spot for guests and the healthy selection of wide ranges from tropical white Riesing to Merlot. For more health conscious people, there is the solarium bistro.
