I am writing this review to convey my heartfelt thanks to Independence of the Seas for giving me such an amazing excursion experience. I was with my friends to cruise the world on the world famous cruise ship. We greatly enjoyed the marvelous excursion experience on Independence of the Seas. Ship people helped us a lot in exploring the places and viewing the magnificent beauty.

Crew staff have given us much time to explore the places and browse the things. It was really an unforgettable experience both for me and my friends. I had traveled on many ships but did not receive such an appreciative service as I had from Independence of the Seas. What an amazing people they were! We still remember those mesmerizing days. I will recommend Independence of the Seas for people who are planning to go for a ship cruise.

The Carnival Conquest from Carnival Cruise Lines, which is based in Galveston and offers trips to and from the Caribbean, features a variety of activities for people to enjoy. In fact all of these activities are ones that can be as unique as the people who get onto the ship. There are all sorts of great activities to see around the ship.

Guests can enjoy any type of sporting activity that they want to on the Carnival Conquest. People can play basketball, volleyball, table tennis, shuffle board and even miniature golf. There are no restrictions as to what people can enjoy out here.

People can also have the freedom to take part in many quality spa treatments at the Spa Carnival. These include things like body massages, hair treatments, shaves, aerobics classes, exercise sessions and much more.

The restaurants offer not only quality food but also the freedom to enjoy them whenever one wants to. These include areas like the Renoir and Monet Dining Rooms, the Cezanne Restaurant with its Mongolian wok and barbeque area and the Point Steakhouse. All of these areas offer unique things for anyone to enjoy at any time thanks to the ability to sit down and enjoy a meal at any restaurant throughout the day with no real restrictions.

Different recreational activities are available as well. People can choose to relax at the piano bar, enjoy a show at the Toulouse-Lautrec Lounge or catch a movie on the ship’s massive Seaside Theatre big screen. People can also play games at the Tahiti Casino.

Aurora is more suitable and attracts elderly British audience, who prefer a traditional experience in cruising. It also is a favorite place for families during school holidays. Being eight year old, aurora looks dated for its age, simply because there are other modern ships that offer far more superior amenities.
The decor of the ship would be more appealing to the older Britons. The dress code is enforced in the dining room as well as the main bar in the evenings. The two restaurants, Alexandria and Medina, offer meals between 6 30 and 8 30 pm. For a more liberal minded group, there is a timed dinner in the Orangery self service buffet venue.
The recently upgraded café, Bordeaux, is now managed by the renowned chef Marco Pierre White, who serves Mediterranean cuisine. Both the restaurants Pennant and cafe Bordeaux, need reservations and the menus keep changing regularly. Orangery serves continental breakfast and the best burgers at sea are offered, if ordered.
Aurora is ideal for long voyages with a lot of outside deck space. Over 900 cabins including, mini suites, suites and two storey penthouses are accommodated in the cabins. Each one has tea and coffee making equipment, air conditioning, TV and fridges.
The Curzon theatre on Carmen's lounge offers entertainment, mainly targeting the elderly audience. Other activities include French and Spanish lessons, dancing and bridge classes and art auctions. A sauna and steam room has full menu of spa activities.
The toy box playroom takes care of children and a free nursery baby sitting service is available till 2 a.m. Though dress code is casual during day, it is very strict during evening and the trip comprises two formal nights, two semi formal nights and three smart casual evenings.
