CELEBRITY SOLSTICE CRUISE SHIP REVIEW 2010
Celebrity Solstice is perhaps one of the most unique cruise lines of its kind. The most striking feature is the design of the ship. Externally the builders have added a unique touch by designing the glass decks at the top wherein people can find the sky observatory lounge which is an attraction its in own, whereas internally every segment is picture perfect with loads of new and exciting stuff. The ship was made in Germany and is the first in line of three. It was launched in 2008. It is a great host for the trip to the Caribbean that it takes for seven days starting from Fort Lauderdale in Florida, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Charlotte Amelie, St. Thomas, Phillipsburg, and St. Maarten and back to Fort Lauderdale.
Celebrity Solstice - Main Dining Room

To fulfill a persons appetite there are six restaurants to choose from. The ambience of these restaurants varies from high end aristocratic Grand dining rooms to the ones with an eastern touch to the ones that give you a grill steakhouse feeling to a complete glass restaurant. Apart from this there is also one by the name of Bistro where one can find a luscious selection of sandwiches and salads. And if anyone is mood for a light snack well, there is another set of snack bars and cafes which provide a great overview of the ocean.
Celebrity Solstice - Oceanview Cafe

For those who are interested in stronger drinks Celebrity Solstice boasts of great bars with different shades and atmospheres depending upon the different moods of a person ranging from night clubs to medieval cellars to snow covered bars etc. It also hosts two special zones for kids and teenagers namely Fun Factory and X Club respectively.
Celebrity Solstice - Theatre

For the cinema buffs there is a grand Solstice Theater and for the ones interested in arts, well they can marvel at the Arts Gallery or the Ensemble Lounge.

2010 CRUISES FROM SOUTHAMPTON
Southampton is located on the south coast of U.K. The language is as expected English, but many different accents may be heard between the natives and the immigrants. In the past the city served as a gateway for ocean liners of the British Empire during the war. Nowadays it is considered as one of the principal cruise ports of Great Britain. Most of the travelers consider it as the first port for crossing the Atlantic. This is a homeport for some of the top cruise lines and ships like: Fred Olsen, Royal Caribbean, P&O Cruises and Saga Cruises.
Cruise liners from Southampton are docked with three cruise terminals. Some of the famous cruise liners like Royal Caribbean including the ship Queen Victoria use the Berth 101 for docking, its approximately five-minute taxi ride from Central railway station of Southampton. Next comes the berth 106, it is located further west and P&O and Princess usually operate from here, berth 38/39 is located at the southernmost tip of the western docks.
Southampton is a city of millions of people; it offers several areas of interest for tourists, at present it offers beautiful and business opportunities with education and shopping facilities including a large commercial port supporting year-round cruise operations. Most of the visitors use Southampton as a gateway to the great city of London.
The maritime museum houses a good collection of artifacts related to Titanic. A scale model represents the port in its ocean liner’s peak days. Here the ship enthusiasts will get a beautiful collection that includes models of the ship ‘Queen Elizabeth 2’ and the original ‘Queen Mary’, plus other exquisite examples of the fine art of ship making. Cruises from Southampton not only present the tourists with a fine experience of a great city but it tries to present before them a rare and rich example of the city’s rich culture and heritage.

NCL NORWEGIAN JADE CRUISE REVIEW
Norwegian Jade is the first ever ship to sail in Europe year- round and like her sisters, has a free style design that shuns traditional cruise formalities. The meals are open seating, ranging from top notch steakhouse to French, Italian, tapas, buffet and traditional English breakfast.
Norwegian Jade Cruise Ship

Onboard activities and entertainment include spa and comedy shows. It cruises for twelve days in the eastern Mediterranean. It has a vibrant interior design with a blend of luxury, daring and ecstasy. The public rooms include bar city which is a primary drawing point for late evening night life. Grand pacific and Alizar are the two main dining rooms of Norwegian Jade, apart from Le Bistro, Jasmine garden, Teppanyaki, the traditional Japanese table top cooking, The steakhouse and garden cafe.
Norwegian Jade Deck 12

If weather permits, there are frequent barbecues on deck which can be particularly enjoyed by passengers returning from port visits. Entertainment program has second city comedy troop, appearing in various forms, almost every night. For luxurious pass time, there are two garden villas complete with butler and concierge service and rightly called "ship within a ship".
Norwegian Jade

A spectacular sun deck on deck 14, allows guests to enjoy an exclusive private haven while still enjoying all the amenities and free style flexibility of a big ship. There are standard cabins which are well designed, decorated in bright colors and a good selection of family friendly connecting state rooms. The public rooms have Wi Fi access.
The fitness spa facility includes sports deck, sun deck and pool deck with up- to- date equipment and for aerobic classes. Smoking is allowed in one lounge where a lot of activities are scheduled which some non- smokers find a disadvantage. For cruise ships standards, the rooms are comparatively smaller. But, as in all cruise lines, the crew member's warm attitude is ever satisfying.
