Sapphire Princess is considered as the twin of her sister Diamond Princess, as both have many things in common, the most obvious being the largest of Princess Cruise. Built in Japan and introduced in 2004, Sapphire Princess has to its credit many new features on board.

Club fusion, a secondary launch, which has in table gaming and many flat screen TV’s, attract young passengers. It was the first to be introduced in grand- class style of vessels. There is an internet cafe that is filled with light and bright always.

There are four restaurants, each one having a theme of its own. Santa Fe, Vivaldi, Pacific moon and Savoy are the four restaurants with slight differences. Suited in a little remote place is the Wake View Bar and is accessible only through circular stair case, descending from Club Fusion.

The Lotus Spa which is characteristic of Princess Cruise has modern locker rooms and offers spa treatments using Japanese screens. The grant piazza atrium is the pinnacle of Sapphire Princess and is a central area which is warm and perfect for souvenir shopping or looking at the latest work of arts. Sapphire Princess has the largest, most appealing internet café, consisting of 29 computer stations. Of course, there is a cost of about 75 cents a minute and there are packages that lower the cost.

Standard interior cabins feature a closet, shelves, bath room, a small table for room service, small refrigerator, private safe and a TV. The sky walker's disco and observation lounge is marvelous and a busy place, always. Five pools, high tech fitness center are there to keep you fit. Though five years old, Caribbean Princess has many popular features, second to none of her sister ships, Emerald Princess, Ruby Princess and Crown Princess. The most obvious and notable transformation is that the ship's atrium has been transformed into a three- deck high piazza, in street cafe style.

It is the place renowned for seafood, bar, vines, wine and also holds an internet cafe, an entertainment area and a library. The vines wine bar is the place that offers more than 30 wines by the glass. There is a sanctuary, high up on the ship that is exclusive to adults, and is equipped with extra cushy lounge chairs.

The main venue for production shows and comedy acts is the Princess venue and the sky walker nightclub at the rear part of the ship, hosts a variety of music of all periods, ranging from 70' s to the latest.

The lotus fitness and spa centers are for couples, as well as mother /daughter and father/ son, as part of "generation Y spa program". In a seven night itinerary, there are two formal nights and the other days can have casual dress code.

There is a great outdoor cafe to serve fast foods and snacks. The French inspired dining, Le Bistro, has mouth watering delicacies, with cozy booths and worth every dollar spent. Norwegian Sun is the first ship of NCL, specifically built for freestyle cruising.
There is a dazzling casino, internet cafe with 24 computer stations. On the main pool deck there are two pools and four hot tubs. The dress code in Norwegian Sun is casual but shorts, bathing suits and flip flops are not allowed in the restaurants in the evenings.

All the suites and penthouse suites have floor- to- ceiling glass doors with a private balcony. The public rooms are clean and well maintained; stewards are attentive and are the perfect place to enjoy for all age group of passengers.
