Seven Seas Navigator Review

The Seven Seas Navigator is the first ship furnished in the unique design of a Regent Seven Seas’ cruise ships. This small intimate ship with features of a big ship is specifically designed to offer its 490 guests the utmost in luxurious cruising, incomparable level of service and one of the highest service and space ratio to guests in the cruising industry. There is an almost unbelievable 1 to 1 (actually 1:1.5) ratio of crew to guest, or 1 crew member to attend and cater to the needs of 1 guest. Total crew member is 324 while guests is 490.

The six-star cruise ship Seven Seas Navigator’s guest accommodations are all-suite, all-ocean view and larger than the usual accommodations in any cruise ship category and provided with lavishly appointed marble bathrooms with a separate shower and tub. All suites also have a sitting/living area furnished with chairs, a table and a settee. The top three suite category of the Seven Seas Navigator, the Master suites, Grand suites and the Navigator suites are luxuriously designed with a separate powder room (only for Master and Grand suites) and sitting-dining room apart from the bedrooms. They are similarly equipped with a marble bathroom but outfitted with a whirlpool tub. On top of these outstanding facilities, butler service is also provided to attend to the needs of the guests.

The dining options on board the Seven Seas Navigator are not only varied but offer a dazzling array of choices from the open-seating main dining room, the Compass Rose to the privacy of the guest’s own suites courtesy of a 24-hour room service. The elegant Compass Rose serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with no fix dining assignment, although no less than once during the cruise, the pool deck becomes the venue of an alfresco dinner. An alternative dining venue are the La Veranda where there is a fantastic buffet spread of various dishes for breakfast and lunch; and for dinner the Pier 7, a reservations only but without extra charge steak house. Guests are also afforded a choice of a casual lunch and snacks at the poolside grill while afternoon tea is provided daily.

Other facilities and amenities that guests can enjoy on the Seven Seas Navigator are the Carita Spa for a full beauty treatment of mud wraps, steam and sauna and the thalassotheraphy; and the Fitness Center for a more physical workout. Nightly entertainment of live performances, cabaret acts and dancing are also made available for the guests’ pleasure.
